AICS Library was established in the year 2000 with few collections. The library has developed a tremendous growth in terms of its collections and services. The AICS Library plays a key role as an information center for the faculty, staff, research scholars, students etc. The library preserved number of important documents of the Baptist Church of Mizoram.
The Library building comprises of two sections called the Stack Room and Reference Section. The Stack Room comprise of general books along with the circulation services, while the Reference section comprise of Reference collections including commentaries, dictionaries, thesis/dissertations, question bank etc. The Library remained open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday and till 12:00 noon on Saturday. The Library is also open from 7:00 pm to 9:00pm as Night Shift . Library is available for access by any persons at free of cost, but library membership is available for AICS faculty, staff and students only. The Library is automated with the Library Management SoftwareSOUL2.0 which was developed by UGCINFLIBNET Centre. Using the SOUL2.0 software the documents of the Library are automated and circulation is available using barcode technology. The Library collections and services are heavily used by the students, staff and faculty. Library books are all classified using the Dewey’s Decimal Classification (DDC) method by professional classifier.
The Library has a total collection of 22,640 accessioned books including the reference and general books. The main sources of the collections are through purchased and donation from organizations and individual. The Library has maintained all the theses of AICS students and others, 25 M.Div., 236 B.D., 63 M.Th., and 19 D.Th., total 343thesis. The library subscribed 73 periodicals, including 43 journals, 24 Magazines, 3 Daily Newspapers and 3 Weekly Newspaper. More than two lakhs is spent during 2020-21 for subscribing journals and five lakhs for purchasing books.

o Library Orientation programme is conducted every year for fresher students

o Newspaper clipping service
o Free access to online digital repository
o Availability of generator to over come the uninterrupted power supply
AICS Library subscribed digital repository such as N-List and Sage. Through these digital repositories users can access a number of subscribed online journals, articles, books etc. For accessing the online materials the library provides desk top computer at Reference Section.
The Library is headed by the Librarian, Lower Divisional Clerk and two Library Assistants.
